We've hit $1000! An update on pre-production.

Thanks to all of the generous support we've received from YOU our campaign has reached 50% of its goal! A milestone indeed.

Now, with only 9 days left in our official Indiegogo campaign, it's crunch time! We are grateful for all of your efforts. Let's keep it going!

Now for an update in pre-production.

Christina, Ayshea and I have been busy making pre-production plans for filming. Have you seen the visual blocks Christina created in the photos section of our blog? Check them out. They show some of the visual inspirations we will use to guide the visual style of our set design, costuming, and overall visual style of our film.

Ayshea's been researching film stock, Kelly's been rough design sketching, Christina's been searching out casting possibilities for Jemila, our second draft of the script is in it's third revision, and I've working on setting a schedule and budgeting. With class starting in just a little more than a week, we've been busy rounding up plans for group creative meetings when we all arrive back in Ithaca next week.

Wooooo.

What a winter break this has been! What a semester it will be!
